I thought I would post this here in case anyone here may be interested. I just didn't do enough research on these before buying one. If someone here wants it there will be a forum discount.

I've been researching Adventure bikes and thinking about possibly getting a KLR some day in the distant future. If my finances were better and you were closer...who knows.

Great looking bike...GLWS.

If you were closer to the right side of the continent I'd be tempted to take a look. And if I took a look I'd probably not be able to resist. So, it's a good thing that you are so far away from me.

Thank You for the compliments and the well wishes Guys. It really is a good bike around town.

Where I failed was realizing was the Interstate speed here is 80mph, and the bags are like sails. That combined with my Fat A$$ on the seat just makes the little 650 really work hard.

I reluctantly agree.

A 650 plus a fat ass does not make for a happy rider.

Learned reluctantly and personally. Hence the 1300.

Love my 1300 and it lies to me about my weight. Which is fine.

That's a NICE KLR. Worthy of a trip to go get it. If the buyer knows the bike's limits, it will be awesome.

That would be a Hellavua bike for a SLOW trip to Alaska. Lol...
