You southern guys from GA, AL, LA, etc. will know what I'm describing, but there's folks out west just can't imagine.

I went out to the bike a while ago and found it like this. It's not raining, hasn't been raining. Nor is it cold. (Ha! One could wish!) It's 78 degrees out, at nearly 11 PM, but the dew point is higher!!! This is the kind of night that your visor fogs on both sides, just riding along, hit a certain patch of air, and suddenly you can't see! (Click for full-size, if desired.)

You don't want to see my a$$ when I sit down on a black seat when it's 110 in the shade and the bike is parked in the sun.

Good thing it is a dry heat :glare:

Um, you coulda stopped before "when." :p

living in sub-tropical Houston I can certainly relate.

Summer is definitely here and so is the humidity.

At 81 degrees when you leave the house at 0630 in the morning you know it is going to be a sultry day.

While I'm not complaining (really, I'm not), the dry climate does come with some drawbacks. Even though it's a beautiful, sunny, 75 degree day here, I had to ride to work this morning in 32 degrees at 7:00 am.

I've seen it pouring down rain with cloudless blue skies as the humidity exceded what the air could hold. North Carolina on the Atlantic coast.

Yep, I live it every day, even if TWN doesn't give a **** about it.

Makes for some very interesting carb jet settings on race bikes.

:)

Let me describe DRYNESS for you!

When you clean the windshield on your car while re-fueling and the water dries before you can squeegee it all off. Happened to me today.

Spent most of last week in Buffalo, NY. 6 pm the heat index was over 100. You guys can keep that crap. Go run 3.5 miles and sweat for longer than you ran. WTF is up with that?

NO thanks. Today was 104 in the sun. A nice DRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY heat. :yahoo:
