I think the '05 fork springs will fit the '03 model -- they're the same except the '05 are stiffer?

Just needed to ask to make sure.

Thanks

Rog

You bet. And are an improvement on the 03 design-not major, but if they're cheap enough, a worthwhile change.

I have an 8k set (mine) and a 12k set (from O'vale) they're yours Rog, if you want them. Dang! If I knew you needed 'em Ida brung 'em to lunch, the other day!

Well Jeeeeez :) fork springs up the wazoo all of a sudden

I just called my dealer and he quoted me $14.95 each!! Is that right? Seems too cheap to me, but what do I know.

I guess I'll be needing the newest "used" pair.

I didn't know I needed them till I thought about it yesterday Tim

I have the bike booked in for a full service on the 13th June so I figured they could change the springs while they're at it.

Will I need to replace the damping rods also? - ya think?

Well crap, for 30 bucks I'd spring (chortle, snigger!) for the new ones. But, lemme know and I toss the 8K's in the mail next week...

$14.95 for fork springs?

Are they going on a scwinn bicycle?

Thats pretty damn cheap and you know the old saying, you get what you pay for.

I replaced the cheesy stockers last year with the progressives and the up grade for $100 was well worth the bucks.Good luck with those 14.95's
