About got it narrowed down, I'm going to get them packed up and see what the shipping is to my options. I'm sure any choice would be a great improvement and I greatly appreciate everyones input.

So, any update on what, if any progress is being made on upgrades to the Gen III one-legged front end? GP/KFG, Traxxion, Racetech, anybody working on this?

With the help of George (EscapeFJRtist) I changed to Race Tech springs (rate-matched to my Sasquatch-rebuilt shock) and Redline Lightweight (5wt) Suspension Fluid. Springs were perfect, fluid a little too thin. Changed fluid to the Redline Medium (10wt) fluid and it now feels every bit as good as my VFR and VTR that had the full Racetech spring/gold valves setup. Definitely a great bang for the buck if you don't want to shell all-out for a GP makeover.

I got in on the recent GP Suspension (KFG Racing) group buy.

I've received the Penske shock (8983) and since I'm on the East Coast so I'll be sending my forks out to them shortly.

My question to others who have done this with GP/KFG is how much adjusting did you have to do to the fork and/or rear shock settings to get them set for your bike?

That was one of the points of doing the GP upgrade. They set things based off questions they asked and I've never felt like I needed to adjust anything. Fill in their questions honestly and accurately...and settings *should* be close.

I checked where they set things and that's it. I rode it and everything was spot on. I didn't need to make changes until I was well past 20,000 miles on it then I had to adjust the compression due to the shock wear.
