Across America we are w/in the next several months having owner gatherings, I have tentative plans to attend EOM. I thought it might be nice if forum members might consider posting pic's of themselves (no helmets) w/there respective bikes. It may help put faces w/posts and maybe better help recognize who is who come owner gathering time.

Those who may be waiters and not yet have their bike may consider pic's w/previous bikes or no bikes, or holding a picture of their 06 on order.

Quite frankly the only one that really concerns me is Fat Naked Guy!

Don't know if this thread will take off and go anywhere, but being first to make such a suggestion I suppose I need to go first:

This is me last Sept 26th the day I bought and brought home my bike. I had just ridden in to my neighbors house to show it off (he's a BMW guy). It was 98 degrees that day and I had ridden it home for 2 hours from Memphis TN. I had just gotten my gear off and drank a Coors light (sitting on the back bumper of the toyota). This at the moment is the only pic I have of me and mine. Admittedly, the bike is much better looking than me.

Jill where was that pic taken? I lived in Fort Bragg for 27 years and moved when the mill closed to Citrus Heigts near Sacramento in 2002.

Here I am almost dressed like a waiter in a restaurant. I was in the local play in our town, we were playing a rich couple in the play "My Fair Lady".

I have since sold this bike and am a waiter for the A model that will (I hope) come next month.

I hope to attend the EOM this summer.

The pic was taken at Lucia, on the way north to Monterrey.

What you can't see is the frustration in my face. We got my 03 very unexpectedly, just minutes before setting out on a weekender. It's not cool to leave a new-to-you bike at home but I was unable to reach the ground on it. DH very kindly offered to look after the FJR for me. I followed behind on my VStar.

Since he was unsure about how suitable the bike would be for me <G> he looked after it for another couple of weeks, until I got my punk boots with the thick soles.
