I'm sitting in the Prickly Pear Cafe having a wrap. Bisbee is far down south and a mining town...lots of tourists, but at least an entertaining town rich with history of copper mining. A rainbow flag adorns the establishment and some handsome guys hanging around...if one were to go for that sort of thing.

I haven't seen an FJR for days, but it's a good vacation. ;)

I think tomorrow is the Pima Air Museum or maybe a round of golf. Gotta love the sunny warmth of Arizona in December. ;)

So you're in a gay cafe, enjoying a warm vacation hanging with some handsome guys?!? (Noting the winks!) Who here knew???

Do we need another section here, maybe entitled "Lifestyle"? Or does mentioning the negative of any FJRs qualify it for posting in this one?

Some guidance, please.

Sorry...no FJR....I rode a CRJ down here courtesty of Delta. Leaving Saturday a.m. Maybe next year when I become so stinking wealthy I can leave a second FJR down here. ;)

Pretty sure I don't want to know what that means when typed from a gay cafe.

JB is from the Gay Area, so maybe I'll ask him when I see him for the Jan. 1 ride.

Have fun, Iggy. B) ;)

Bisbee is a pretty cool small town, One of my winter overnite loops from Phx (As is San Diego). Gotta love all year ridin ! Enjoy the low humidity & decent temps while you can.

What's funny is Matt submitted those posts two days ago. It took that long for his dial-up wifi in Bisbee to upload his text...

It may take a couple days for the uhhh, "Lifestyle" comments to reach him and initiate a retort.

Canada Regional Jet by Bombardier. A bit more top speed than the FJR, but mileage isn't so hot.

I just got back to Tucson after taking a VERY alternate path with the rental car. Montezuma Pass was a lot of fun being unpaved....and I had a Border Patrol stop and ask me a few questions as I was taking a piss within about 1/2 mile of the Mexican border. I even spotted some Minutemen patrolling the border.

But, back to civilization and it's off to the hotel for a shower and then dinner at The Mountain Oyster Club.

Cerveza y juevos con todos!!!!! Life is rough in Tucson.

Isn't that the bar from the movie Police Acad...oh, wait, that was The Blue Oyster Club. Nevermind...

Hi Matt, If you can stretch your trip out to the 2nd, you would be more than welcome to ride my FJR as much as you want to!

Either Greg & Jane, Art, Robert or I could pick you up at Phoenix's Sky Harbor airport and we'll find a place for you to stay.

2003 FJR is owned by a little old man that only uses it to go to church and the liquor store. However, this Old Fart's Iglesia is in San Jose del Cabo in Baja California Sur and my favorite liquor store is Skinny Dick's Halfway Inn in Fairbanks, AK.

If this works into your schedule, please call me at any of the following numbers: H: 480-917-3863, C: 602-722-0427, W: 602-254-1191x148. Seriously, if we'd known that you'd be in The Grand Canyon State we'd have fixed you up with an FJR!

Sincerely yours,

Don Stanley

Postscript: I have four other motorcycles, five others when a BMW F800GS arrives in May, so loaning the FJR is no problem.

Thanks anyway. I'm looking forward to getting home after a week with family....and didn't bring my riding gear this year anyway. I'm kinda picky about gear these days after one IBR down. ;) Greg and Art also have standing offers. Maybe next Christmas. ;)
