Frame sliders for an 03 what are my options?

The ones with brackets are considerably more expansive, and fairing modification isn't that big a deal. It's a hole. Which you cover up.

frame sliders bend frames in hard crashes...motor mount attached sliders are in the the most heavy strength mounts possible
Even klutz me could drill holes that were hidden by the sliders with R&G's on my '04
and Walter's Sliders did their job in a slam crash avoiding a cat as seen below...protected the engine side cover from destruction too

duh, THEY BOLT TO THE FRAME with 2 "lil" bolts,
not the motor mounts, replacing the big ole motor mount bolt...
frames can be bent when slammed, lil bolts can be bent and yanked out the alum frame threads
especially with things sticking out and the law of physical leverage
but, hay, $80 vs $100...one does save $20

Wow patriot, you must be a very important man. Are you always so condescending? You win the "I got the best sliders" competition. I was merely giving the OP an option to the previously suggested $210 GSG Moto no cut sliders. Next time you want to SHOUT YOUR BULLSHIT ask yourself this question - what's the opposite of above me? Proceed.
I've a set of these on two of my Gen 1 FJRs and unfortunately they have been tested on one of the bike. A low speed spill on ice 2 years ago left no damage to the bike the same bike has been over on both sides (tip overs) and again no damage,(rolled off side stand on one occasion and a friend dropped it on another). No idea how they would work at higher speeds but they are a substantial bit of kit and are well made.
