Folks... I live in the Pacific North WET. For the last few years this bloody plant has been slowly invading my lawn and garden beds. :angry03: Anybody have any idea what it is? Any PNW gardeners or lawn experts on the board who can help?

I gotta get rid of dis sheite! :battleaxe:

Thanks

Scott

Whatever you do, don't touch it with your bare han. . . . . Oh, ****!

Seriously, no clue, sorry. PNW is about as far away as you can get from me and still be in CONUS. I got weeds, too, but I gave up the fight. Let 'em have the yard. Grass won't grow, might as well grow daffodils and crabgrass. At least they cover the sand.

Wait until mid-summer when we have a couple-three near-100 temp. days in a row coming up. Mix 50% crossbow and 50% roundup in a sprayer. Cover everything you don't want dead in heavy plastic and make sure there is no breeze carrying the stuff to neighbors. Wear rubber gloves, long pants and long sleeves. It will kill everything it gets sprayed on. Keep kids, dogs and cats off for at least 48 hours (72 is better). Goats only need 24 hours (true). The combination will kill everything -- even blackberry vines, though they take a week or two.

A Ph.D in plant genetics told me this trick. Pricey solution but it works.

THIS SOLUTION WILL KILL YOUR LAWN AS WELL. If you're going this route, rent a skid loader and start over.

Ummm.... I think I made that clear. It kills everything, but it works. Doesn't sound like there is much lawn to save.

Bust would know...
You're right.............Bust would let loose a small herd of sheep and allow them to feast on this weed from hell. Of course, nothing would ever grow again, so you'd be left with dirt (mud). And then you'd need something really strong to spray because Bust would be hanging around playing grab-*** with his flock!!

Really, cilantro? My mom buys a cilantro plant every year & every year she has a dead plant within weeks... & yours just grows wild? Wow! I love cilantro.
