Bought a 2012 FJR with front end damage. Needed some specific parts that have worked out very well. Also, some people here have been able to get some parts much less expensive than new.

Still have the complete engine for sale. $300 + shipping from Los Angeles. Offering it here before posting on Craigslist.

Do not know bike's miles as instrument unit was damaged, but bike appears it had very little use and was well cared for:
  • Blackstone oil analysis said, “There aren't any signs of poor wear or mechanical trouble in the levels or the balance of wear metals. In addition to the good news about the engine's condition, the oil is physically fine…”
  • Michelin Road 5 rear tire was barely worn
  • Custom exhausts were matched with a Power Commander V
  • Headlight bulbs were replaced with high end LED's
  • Brakes and rotors were in excellent condition
  • Brake fluid was very clear, meaning low mileage or careful maintenance
  • Fuel pump looked fresh with no discoloration of plastic
  • No signs of extensive wear or grime build up on any parts of the bike.
Suggest you PM me for photos and copy of full Blackstone oil analysis.

Live in Los Angeles area. If you pick up in person (preferred) I will include all the parts still attached to the frame, including brake calipers, wiring, triple tree, swing arm, clutch and brake hydraulics and numerous other bits. Regretfully can only transfer frame with VIN number to a licensed dealer.

Also have a box of V-Star 250 parts - 2005-2022 are all the same - near complete bike except for bent frame and transmission locked engine. Super price if you can use. Or ask me about a V-Star 1100 with fresh professionally rebuilt carbs using genuine Yamaha parts, shotgun exhaust, forward controls and Mustang seat.

Turning 83 and keeping my FJRs and Honda CB1100 retro bike. But everything else must go. I would rather share this good news with you who have supported the site and me through the years before I go to Craigslist, FB Marketplace, etc.

Darn, wish you were closer. I need more motorcycle stuff to make my wife look at me like I've lost it. (Actuall just need a spare ecu, but the spare engine would be sweet)

GLWS.

I have 100,000 miles on my 2011 and it probably isn't good for much more than another 100,000. With a spare low mileage engine, the bike would outlast my remaining riding days! If it wouldn't cost a fortune to crate and ship, I would be thinking seriously (not to mention the logistics of getting it across the border into Canada). Hope someone local will take it off your hands.

I know a weird offer... but here goes... Later in August I'm driving from San Diego, thru LA, on up to Ashland OR, via SF bay area. There will be plenty of spare space in the hatchback and I'm willing to transport items that won't dirty the interior (no leaking oil, etc)... so, if interested in meeting me in Ashland to pick up parts, feel free to arrange whatever

I’m looking for a rear wheel, complete with rotor and sensor. Do you have one you would sell?
I have a rear wheel with the newer sensor. It doesn't fit my 2004 FJR. I bought it when I was going Darkside. It has a new car tire fitted. Unfortunately I'm in Australia. If you are interested I can get a quote for shipping. I'll get the tire taken off. I can take some pictures. I eventually bought another wheel which matches my 2004 FJR. Hence I have two spare rear wheels.
