For those of you that didn't know, Pirelli is GIVING AWAY a free Front (120/70/17) Pirelli Diablo Corsa III tire, which is the new triple compound tire. All you have to do is purchase the rear (180 or 190), when you get your receipt you send it in with your registration.

Do not register now for your free tire. Wait until you get your tire because they only give you 14 days from the time you register to the time they have to receive your receipt by mail. ALSO.... you HAVE to purchase your tire from an official PARTS UNLIMITED dealer!!!

Canucks are pucked again :angry2:

If this keeps up we're going to demand you Americans return our hockey players.

And our telephones.

And the Canadarm.

And Steve Nash, Pamela Anderson Lee, Jim Carey, Keifer Sutherland, Elisha Cuthbert and Mike Meyers (you can keep Alex Trebek and William Shatner).

And we're going to send George Ignatieff back to teach at Harvard for another 25 years.

And we'll burn your White House down again (but we'll wait until our Prime Minister is visiting).

When they did the Strada buy1 get 1 last time they had a separate promotion for Canadians - they offered 100 tires to us where they offered 1000 for the United Statesians.

This time they want $25 for the shipping/handling on the front - it was $15 for the Strada.

And Dan Ackroyd, Adam Beach, Micheal Buble, Neve Campbell, David James Elliott and Natasha Henstridge.

And we'll make you keep Celine Dion, maybe KD Lang too.

And take back Labour Day (or at least make you spell it right)

And we'll buy prime time slots on all the TV networks to show Trooper, Glass Tiger, Gino Vanelli Leonard Cohen and Paul Anka videos. :punk:

And we'll rename those stupid birds America Geese and make them your problem. :kiwibird:

Shania now makes her home in New Zealand with her hubby.

Damn it. :angry2:

Just received a new set of Avons.

I would have jumped on saving 100 bucks.

Not if you buy the rear from a reputable dealer, Then they absorb the shipping cost! ;)

I got in on the Strada promo. If this promo works the same, it's easy.

For me, Motorcycle Superstore was the cheapest, and service was quick, so I could register quickly, and mail it off. Don't wait TOO long to register, or you won't be in line for a tire. They go fast.

ANY RETAIL STORE, whether it be an online purchase, or your local dealer should be a Parts Unlimited dealer. They are the US distributor for Pirelli. Everyone gets their tires from them. What Pirelli doesn't want is some hokey EBAY purchase, etc.

Shipping last time was $25.00. My tire was shipped UPS. From rear tire purchase, to front tire arrival was approx. three weeks. I was able to track its progress through all the steps.

The Strada balanced well, and is confidence inspiring. I don't have enough miles yet to determine how long they will last, but I like them alot so far.

Net, I saved about fifty bucks or so after paying for mount and balance at my local shop. Their parts dept was not within 60 bucks of the price I paid for mine. If the price had been closer I would have bought there also to support the locals, but I live in CA and need that extra money for gas and insurance. Good luck with the Corsas.

Ride safe.

You are mistaken. I bought into the Strada deal last time and the cost was $25 for the front {shipping}.

OH, the Canadian free-front deal was only $15!!!
For once we Canuks got off cheaper than the 'muricans. YAY!

Better hurry!
Only 40 tires left as of this post!
Actually, make that 400 as of your post GB.

Looks like a few over 300 as of today. Wish I could grab a set but still owe a chunk on my 06 FZ1 and the Dunlops will last me a couple of years at the rate I get to ride. Hell, they may dry rot before I wear um out!

Not getting it..., I go to swmoto they have the Diablo Corsa ($158) but I'm not seeing anything on the

Diablo Corsa lll. Start searching around and see a write-up in sportrider saying, "So what's the performance difference between the dual Diablos? That's a little bit like asking parents which one of their brilliant offspring is better. Considering the two tires' design missions provides much of the answer: The Corsa has an edge in dry grip and handling; the standard Diablo in wet performance and mileage. High-speed stability is even."

Soooo, WTF? Anddd after reading about this tire, is it really the tire for the FJR? looks like it's going to wear quickly. Just running my thoughts seeing as the promotion is down to 184 as of this writing.... <_<

Just ordered mine...73 left
Wish I could just sit on a set until I needed them. My bike hasn't even been ridden in weeks. :(

Here are some other stores that advertises the Corsa III's at a good price. Beware of some web stores for adding handling charges on tires.

I ordered mine on Friday morning and there were 111 left then. $140 from my dealer for the rear. He will mount and balance both tires for free for me. What a deal. A set of tires for about $175. hope they won't disappoint as I have loved my last two sets of Avons. Also hope the dollar per mile works out.
