Don't take this wrong but I would never loan my bike to a new member with only 12 posts. I am sure it is on the up and up but it would not be on my bike. Nothing personal. :cigar:
:dntknw: Yeah, I'm not real comfortable offering my Goldwing or KTM in return but it's a chance I'm willing to take. You've got to think out of the box if you want to make real progress.

:yahoo: Yes! I'm riding an FJR tomorrow and it's set up similar to how I imagine I'd set mine up. Thanks Gents, I knew there'd be some kindred spirits here. :drinks:

:clapping: First Ride Ever Report - (short form)

I'm pleased to report that my fears were foundless. I had read others concerns regarding top heavy/cornering issues and was prepared for the worst. The FJR I rode today (Thanks Apollo n Apolla) displayed no quirks in the twisty's, s-curves, tight u-turns, open u-turns, slow sweepers, and yet-to-be-named curves. Solid, smooth, and steady through the curves it easily holds a line, and easy to flip from side to side, WOW I'm impressed. After test riding a couple of other highly touted sport tour models and being mostly disappointed I really wasn't expecting much from the Yammie. :headbonk: .....anyway, I guess the next step is to figure out now which of my toys must go to make room :bye2:

:clapping: OK, RIDE NUMBER TWO!! Thanks Slappy; All the superlatives plus... almost no wind effect. Slappy was riding the Wing and I could see him getting getting pushed sideways by the large and sudden wind gust. On the FJR, NUTHIN? I MEAN NUTHIN! Wow, I am impressed. :yahoo:

Yes...well...as I said before:

Resistance is futile...you will be assimilated!

Rather than sell your bike for a loss you should find someone who wants to do a swap.
