Heard that.. I've a few spots in the lawn that could use a trim, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna snow blow first!

The skies are finally clearing here, and getting warmer/sunnier. I'm still too paranoid to take the bike to work, as my shift ends @ 11 pm, and it could still snow or ice up or something.

Tomorrow, however, I have a full day off, and I'm hittin' the road early!

Unless, of course, it snows again....

.. and a few years ago it snowed here in freakin' JUNE!

I hate to do this to you, but this was the view out my office window about two weeks ago. Those are cherry blossoms.

If it makes you feel any better, it looked like it was snowing when the petals fell gently to the ground carried by a warm breeze.

I was up in Western NY at the end of March. Cold and snowy, or as I like to refer to it: UNINHABITABLE.

OK! My 2013 riding season officially started at 10am this morning. Looked out the window and saw the street sweeper go by cleaning up all the left over sand and crap from the last 5 months.

Update: 10:30am

....season kickoff delayed due to rain pissing down and temps in the mid 30's (F) AND the forecast shows little improvement til next

week. For the love of God let's please move on from this winter!

You know what's funny about this picture? This could be Texas in the middle of winter. If I posted this picture whining about it snowing in Texas, all the folks up north would point and laugh and be like "You call THAT snow" and give me all kinds of crap. But whoa, let it do this in Mi in the springtime and let the crying begin.

By the way, it'll be 70F this afternoon. Was a brisk 50F this morning, needed my liners in the mesh gear again.
