holy crap that exhaust is loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong
Good thing, as when you stomp on it they will roar! Not bad and easily managed either way, but you can make them roar if you care too. I really did not measure them to the stock mufflers in length, but I know I lost a bunch of weight. My next adventure is to have the cats cut out of my pipes and have it Jet coated. You need to cut the header open to cut the cats out and I believe you add specific pipes or "windage" trays to separate the headers 2x2. I would need to read the article again.

It has me curious but it could be the picture perspective also.

Glad to see you are able to ride again, as I'm sure you are too! Hoping to take a ride to Pennsylvania this summer. Beautiful state!
We are blessed with some very awesome riding around here in PA. Enjoy and PM when you are around, maybe we can get a Food meet somewhere.

Well yesterday my third ride and I got her to 250 miles. Whoo Hoo!!!!

I beat on her a bit more and ran her into the 6500-7000 RPM range, banged gears a bit more up and down and almost rode her like I will. Almost.

I brought her home and changed the oil/filter and FD oil. Nothing to note really. I used a Bosch filter, Mobile Delvac Super 1300 15-40w that Advance Auto had on sale, Mobile 1 75-90 Synth gear oil with 1/3 tlb of Moly. I have used Molly in my BMW and will continue in the Yamaha. Yes it was slurry colored coming out so the Molly additive for breakin may be true for sure, as when you mix 1/3 tbs in 6 oz. of gear oil it matched pretty well. I drained it into a clear measuring cup and no sediment on the bottom either. Nothing to note on the FD magnet very fine, light coating, in sunlight just a hint of glitter rubbing it through my fingers but nothing of any size that I could feel or see.

Need to run her in now and get the 600 done and get on with learning this fine bike. Fresh oil and new PR'2 in the closet, life is good.
