FWIW, I've found two ways which seem to work quite well.
One requires a simple jack (I use a small scissor jack) and a short length of 2x4 (~12-14" long) with two small pieces of wood attached which fit up through the plastic (two holes) to contact a secure section on the bike. The 2x4 is placed on the jack under the bike with the short attached sections protruding up through the holes. From this, I can easily raise and lower the front end enough to remove the front wheel when the FJR is on the center stand (especially easy if the rear wheel is removed).
More recently, I have purchased a scissor type platform jack (from Princess Auto) which has two adjustable upright holders which can be fitted through the holes in the fairing to achieve the same thing as above. This is a bit more sophisticated and a litter more expensive method.
