Hi there

I took these working horns off of an FJR I recently bought. I prefer the Stebel horn. Anyway they work just fine. $40 shipped seems fair. pay via paypal is preferred.

Ive still got a Techmount stem mount with a Rm Aquabox for sale too if anyones interested.

Right, These can plug into the stock connection points no relay.. The PO had them mounted in the stock locations too.

Damn....too quick for me.

I have one of these fitted......can't remember which, but would have bought both and had a spare!!

Thanks for the heads up leclairk. I'll prob wait to see if any more come up here.

Even one of them coupled with one stock horn makes a big difference.

That's interesting. When I took them off my bike I did a bench test before selling. Individually they aren't so impressive. I actually thought they were broken but they were very loud on the bike. I wired them together and they were ear piercing. Must be a reason they sell in pairs (400/500hZ and 500/600Hz). Guess the point is one may not meet expectations but both frequencies together get the job done. (I cant explain that!)

I agree with you about that. I started my install of the 400/500 Hz set and only had time to replace the stock horn with the 500 Hz horn the first day and by itself it sounded as lame and not much louder than the 'meep-meep' stock horn. When I finally got time to mount the other 400, I got what the two were designed to do together. Loud and proud!! These are a pair for a reason.

It's the interference between the two frequencies that create loudness. We actually did a lab on it in high school physics ....... back in 1918 or whenever it was.
