THIS FUND WILL CLOSE 6PM FRIDAY 7-10-09
This money now needs to go to the girl, so she can use it to meet her needs
To all those that have donated and sent will wishes, good mojo, good juju, and kept the candles burning. Thank you. I set this fund up to help and my fellow riders came through in spades. If you wish to donate and have not yet had the chance now is the time. I have to close this fund so I can do a proper accounting and let those that used electronic checks get counted (they take a couple days to clear).
If ever there was doubt about the human condition I encourage you to look at the list of donars. My fellow riders, you rock!!
It will take several days to get this money moved. I could easily paypal it to her account.. but this amount of money would take a large hit in fees. So, my intention is to request a check from Paypal on Friday. This will take a few days. Then I will most likely have to deposit it onto the account that started with $.04, let it clear, then get a cashiers check from that to her. I will include the paper checks made out to Tyler that are here in front of me on my desk. Yes I have the cute as hell hand made get well cards that came with them. For you folks that sent those cards, know I scanned them and sent them ahead a few days ago. I will also be sending the hard copies with the checks
I will send this check to a forum member in the area. Madmike is my first choice if he is available. This will also allow for a final accounting of the funds.. This check will then be given to Tyler, her sister, or her daughter. I will coordinate this with her sister as she seems to be spearheading her recovery.
My heart is warm.. Thank you my fellow riders for showing me that love is abundant in our community. It has been an honor to be the conduit for this.

This money will be given to Tyler's family to do with as they see fit for her recovery.
No preconditions. Those that have asked, Whats the money going toward.. My answer is simple. It is going for Tyler. Even something as simple as "Ice Cream" if that is what she decides makes her long road to recovery easier, someone even suggested "Extreme Moosetracks" as a decent flavor for such a recovery (on Pashnit I beleive.) That is the nature of giving. It is done from the heart, with no expectations of anything in return.
There is a mystique about motorcycle riders in the world at large. Irresponsible, brash, unsafe, stupid kids, posers, and much much more. But if you toss out the background noise and get right down to the reality or it. There are other things that surface, things the media does NOT cover. Here is you proof of such things. Right here.. Right now
If you have sent money, and forgot to ad your forum name, PM Me so I can ad you to the list.. It matters..
MadMike.. And HotRodZilla have access to this account for Audit purposes.
