Was'nt Stalone riding that thing in "Judge Dread" ?

Crap, now ya'll know I watched it.

Yeah. The prototype made all the big bike shows for a year or two. It was always corded off on a pedistal because it was just a mock up with some bits barely attached.

The Silver Wing and the ST1300 both took styling cues from it. It's what I was waiting for that eventually came out as kinda like the ST1300. But Honda dragged their feet with pricing and availability back in late 2002, so I went with the FJR as a sure thing before the first PdP window closed. MAN! Am I glad I did.

The prototype was built back when Honda was getting ready to ship the superb RC51 and when they appeared to be interested in taking some risks with new models. Since then, we've gotten the extremely forgetable ST1300, the ridiculous Rune, an electrically adjustable steering damper on the CBR1000, a VFR with a VTEC valvetrain that makes less power everywhere, and a lot of BNG.

Honda has lost the plot.

I thought the same thing when I saw it :D

Very Gay. :stunned:

I sure hope that styling stays away from that direction.

If all bikes look something like that, I will quit riding.

:bad:

It wouldn't stop me from riding but I would dress a little different...
