Congratulations on the new to be bike!!! I am up in TN,NC,GA Enjoying some of Americas finest twisty roads!!! The Road people around here should be recognized for their fine job well done :D I am actually using some of the side of the tire for once. :)

Since the PdP has always required that the dealer show delivery to the registered owner within 15 days of it arriving at the dealership, it will continue to be interesting to see if those who picks these "Ghost Buyer" bikes up end up with a warranty clock that's already been running.

I picked the bike up yesterday! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

I'm not real pleased with those guys but I got the price I needed and the bike's perfect so I can't complain too much. I just didn't appreciate the "don't tell anyone else how much you paid" BS and the never ending cries of "I'm losing $500 on this bike" from the GM. I finally looked at him and said if he was losing $500 at that price, than Tony over in Texarkana's filing Chapter 11 next week. That shut him up.

Having said that, they do still have FIVE (5) A models available.

I bought my 2004 new at Motion Cyclesports. I paid $10,800 for a non-abs before tt&l. Have the FJRs gone up that much in just 2 years? Holy crap. At this rate they'll cost as much as a new Wing by 2009.

Well, MSRP is $13,499 and they are unobtainium in most of the US unless you're already on the list.

If I remember right, my MSRP was $11,499. Is the $13,499 the price if you buy off the floor without the PDP?Wow. If they keep going up a grand a year, it's going to be pretty costly to buy another one a few years from now.

Not so fast.

Your is a non-abs, so the ABS model for 04 would have been a $1000 more. And now they only come in ABS, as well as with some other upgrades.

So it's really only like $500 a year, and now includes a significantly upgraded model.

Yes they are not the friendliest, and I was referred by a friend to them that has purchased many bikes there!

I guess that is why they have bikes for sale. :angry2:

I would say significantly changed, the jury is still out on whether they are upgrades or not.

It's hard to find fault with the changes: heat nearly a non issue, 100w more juice, better gauge package, adjustable seat and bars, bag lines and abs included, windshield tracks back farther and no back pressure, power port, battery and fuse relocated and very accessible, etc. Worth $1,200? That's your call.
