Just paint a smilie on the end of the yellow one. It should look like this when finished+1 - I like the white just fine. I might paint the puke yellow Pure One filters, or maybe just leave it as a sign of my incredible intellect at using a superior filter at the same (or lower) price.
Sorry, but mine's got a Wix on it -- a black Wix.Ahh, I was expecting a picture of your oil filter with the smiley on it.
A non-OEM filter AND a car tire?!I'm sure someone will be along waving their arms in the air. DANGER DANGER ......
Fred, you know better than that.....first of all the correct description is "fiery ball of plastic and aluminum death" and secondly, it ONLY involves Darksiding!I'm not sure there is anything logical to be concluded from that...Well, that's not logical. 20w40 would be heavier, so it should require less -- thus a shorter filter. When the owners manual changed the oil weight from 20/40 to 10/40 they were able to shorten up the filter to accommodate the new oil weight
All I know is I cheat the oil specs at both ends and use 15W50 (Mo-Bile 1 cah earl). And... I run it 5k per change, and only change the filter every other time.
I'm expecting to die in a fiery ball of death pretty much any moment now.
