I can give a testimonial for the battery tender. It works as advertised and is very durable.

Which brings up a question that I have. My 2011 FJR manual says the bike has a special battery and that normal battery chargers may damage it.

What's the deal?

Is a Battery Tender Jr. safe to use?

Ken
When using a battery tender make sure it supports AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) type batteries. The Battery Tender Jr. supports these kind of batteries, so you're safe.

As far as your riding time, just ride when you can... Sometimes life happens!

One thing I'd do if I was you guys with 6, 7 or 8 year old tires is change them.....as the tires age the rubber gets harder.
By the time the sidewalls start to crack they were already bad for years.

BTW....My Wife went to LAKELAND HS. in White Lake.
I live about a half mile down Cedar Island Rd from Lakeland. As a retired auto designer turned school bus driver in the winter, I visit Lakeland often.
