Hi guys,
Just want to thank Gary for the great job he did on my saddlebag.
The bag fell off the bike at ~15 mph going over the bump, so it was not just scratched, but cracked - a squire inch piece was broke loose coming off the cover.
I contacted Gary via email (thanks to this forum!) and got an immediate response with a quote, procedure and timeline based on the pictures I sent.
When I got my bag back last week right on time as promised....
Let me tell you something - when it comes to buying used cars, all my friends come to me asking to check it for the paintwork on it. I don't need a paint meter to determine if it is panted or not, I just need to walk around and I will pretty much know what is wrong or at least where to double-check for repaint etc. And it is not just the paint mach, it also the details that will tell you if it was repainted or not - that is how picky I am!
So, based on the quote Gary provided, I was not expecting anything but a temporary fix until I have an extra money to buy a new one...
Long story short - I was completely satisfied with the job Gary did on my bag, and as a result - extremely happy! This bag definitely stays and there is no need to replace it! The whole process was also very smooth and painless!
Gary, thank you very much! I really appreciate your help. The bag is like new! And what is most important to me - I love dealing with someone who care for what he is doing and paying attention to the details of the entire process.
Thank you and best regards!
Valentin
P.S When I tried to install my first rivet I of cause screwed it up, and how big my surprise was when I found an extra one in a bag, sent to me by Gary. It would not be a big deal for me to run to Home Depot to get one, but still - another pleasant surprise!
