Garmin 2610 And Ampli-rider Audio Problem

I am trying to find an easy fix for something that is

driving me nuts. Does anyone here use the Ampli-rider

and a Garmin 2610? I can not get the gps audio to work

thru the Ampli-rider. The gps audio is too strong for

the Ampli-rider and it gets clipped , thus sounds just

like static. I tried an in line volume control, with

the 2610 audio set a 1, still too much. Anyone have

any ideas? Anyone using the" Mix-It "with a 2610?
