Garmin 26xx/27xx/28xx series motorcycle power cable.

Guys, anybody have a power cable for one of the GPS's listed around in the kicking garage?

Discontinued by Garmin and am looking for one that I can get pronto (sub 2-weeks).

Comes at a touratech premium of course. If you have the car plug or extra home plug, you can just cut off the end and use the red and black wire for power. Also, make sure you do not reverse the polarity. Double check, or you will use the GPS as a fuse.

OK, I moved crap from one side of my garage to the other and found two cables from my Garmin 276c. One is a right angle plug and the other is a straight. Be forewarned it was a 5 beer job just moving the crap around in my garage to find these cables and I expect to be properly compensated. I soldered on some extra cable on the one cable to give you enough length to reach the battery. Use the cable you want but please bring the other cable with you to Calabogie since I still have a 276c as backup and need at least one cable.

PM me your address I will get them on their way. Slemens Dark would be acceptable but no kiddie (light) beer thank you.

PS: The red lead is the positive and the black is negative.

I have no idea if it makes a difference but does a 276c have a different power setup than the models Bungie actually asked for?

If so, I will still look in my basement to see what I have. If not, I'll abort that task.

Apparently I have fallen through a wormhole and have entered an alternate universe because Wheaton and Bungie are correct. The power plugs I have for my 276c will not work for you. Hopefully Wheaton has what you need.

I'm pretty sure I can't send Bungie what he needs...but, in lieu of that, I will try to see if I have a 27xx power cord laying around to send him.

I bought a box of 2730 stuff from a fellow member a week or so back. and just tonight I ordered a Zumo 665...go figgure.

Anyway I have a couple of the (110v) ac cables and one of the car cables. this is the one that plugs into a cig lighter and has a speaker on it.

If you can use it pm me your shipping info and I'll get it out in the AM mail.

If you are just going to carve it up for the garmin end, one of the ac cables may be best as it is a smaller cable and has a noise filter on it.

BTW, Griff sent me a steering stem nut for my 04 so I could remove my Techmount and install it on the '13.
