Anybody out there mounted there 60csx? (on your FJR!).
I've used that exact same mount with a Garmin Zumo 550 and a TomTom Rider 2. Both worked just fine. I'm going to relocate them eventually but for the time being, it works.
RAM-B-252U

RAM .87 X 2.25 W/ 11 MM HOLE & 1"ball

i used this with 10mm bolt in threaded hole on left bar. on my o6 .

I have a new Garmin 60cxs and would like to mount it on my 07 FJR. Given the lack of exposed handle bar real estate, I'm thinking a standard handlebar mount will not do. It would seem this RAM mount would do: https://products.ram-mount.com/rammount/pro...RAM-B-174-GA12U

Will this mount work on the left handle bar?

Or is the clutch mount better?

I used that clutch mount for a while and don't like it... those 2 little screws aren't meant to support any weight and pushing on the GPS to push buttons, I felt like I was just asking for trouble. I switched to a mount on the bars (it came with my Zumo 550).

So from that.. it sounds like the RAM-B-231 bar mount will work.

I need to know because I'm flying out to pick up a FJR and plan to use my GPS to get home. I need to order the mount and I'll add it when I pick it up.

Thanks

I just used the empty threaded hole next to the clutch. A RAM-ball fit there perfectly and I mounted my 2610 on it.

Works like a champ.
