I was just checking out the MTF website and saw a long post about how Gary Orr of San Diego BMW just did a ride across country hauling 75 gallons of gas so that he did not have to stop. Here is a picture of his set-up:

Seems pretty amazing to me. I met Gary while participating in the LowCal 250 set up by Craig (Sandiegoland).
I had not seen any information about this on any of the regular forums and thought some here would find it interesting.
Here are some cross posts:
Countdown: ~248 miles to Jacksonville, FL
Date: 6/12/08
Time: 4:45 PM
Ave Speed: 65.1 mph
Max Speed: 80.6 mph
Gary is now riding with a total of 2,124 miles non-stop and currently having fun cruising along the landscape of Florida. He mentioned that he crossed a terrestrial rain and thunderstorm when he pass Louisiana State. He wanted to extend his appreciation to everyone supporting him and especially keeping him awake with phone calls. He is having a great time....
C O N G R A T U L A T I O N to Gary Orr
with his safe arrival at Jacksonville, Florida and accomplishing a total of 2,372 miles without stopping in less than 37 hours.
Here below is Gary's TV spot before he take-off Ocean Beach, San Diego last Wednesday morning 6/11/08 @ 8 AM:

OCEAN BEACH, Calif. -- On Wednesday, the co-owner of BMW motorcycles in San Diego will try to find out just how far can you drive a motorcycle without ever stopping, as he embarks on a personal journey from coast to coast.
"I'm going to jump on the bike and head east, and with any luck, I'm not stopping until I get to the East Coast," said Gary Orr.
Orr, who left for a 2,300 trip from Ocean Beach to Jacksonville, Fla., said he'd try to finish up in roughly 36 hours. To avoid delays, his motorcycle is equipped with snacks, a drinking hose and a GPS system, so his friends can keep track of him.
"We'll be able to watch every 15 seconds in updates," friend Michael O'Keefe said. "We'll be able to see where he is."
Orr said his motorcycle would need about 60 gallons of fuel. He said he bought about 81 gallons of fuel, most of it stored in a small trailer behind his motorcycle so it can later be pumped into the tank.
Orr said prior to this, the longest trip he had ever taken was a 1,700-mile trip in roughly 26 hours.
