I'm real dull here folks. Are the ones going to Jalama Beach going to already be in SB all day Friday?
I thought we were eating at Jalama Cafe burger joint in Lompoc???

Anyway, I'll be coming up Friday and even if I left at 10am I'd just make it to the burger joint by 1pm, doing the big loop from SB, I'd be in LA and Ventura traffic all morning.

Why don't we hook up early Friday on 405 on my way north?

I'm leaving 6ish from San Diego so will be passing thru Newport about 7:30ish.

Name the meetup and I'll meet you there.

I plan to be at the hotel in SB about 9:30 or 10 so I have a decent break before heading off to Jalama Beach.

Just damn it.

George, you should try for a bun burner on the way down.
Not far enough for a BB...a SS crossed my mind! Have other plans on the way down...not a straight shot.

Hwy 36?
Probably not this trip...maybe a little of 299.

If you havn't already (and if you're coming south into Cal on I5), consider a detour onto 96 west from just north of Yreka to Willow Creek then onto 299 west to Redding. Hwy 96 is the ultimate 'River Run', following the Klamata River and Pine Creek for 145m of sheer bliss.

Ok, I get it now... sort of...

All ya'll or most ya'll doing the Jalama Beach thang, are going up Thursday. Roy's riding up Friday and meeting you at hotel at 10-11am, then you guys having a fun ride to Jalama Beach. Got it. :)

I'll be coming up Friday some time probably just meet the gang at the hotel later.

If time is a bit short ride 3 off 96 to Weaverville. Just rode it last week, a real bithchin' road!

Thanks y'all.

Had the opportunity to ride these most excellent NorCal roads for WFO / Eureka and a trip to Alice's to see my bud Wheatie! Wish they were a little closer to the PNW for more ride time!

I know we are almost 2 weeks out, but I changed my oil and filter and washed and waxed my bike. I will still ride the bike until I leave, but have put out the word to dirt and bugs to stay off.

Washed and waxed? What are you a Harley rider? Since you washed and waxed the bike now you'll make it rain.

I am not a big fan of the bag lady look on my bike, so I clean it. As for rain, that is usually my luck.

Have to cancel attending this great gathering. Crashed my Tuono at a track day yesterday and broke my collarbone so I'm out

Come meet us for dinner anyway, Randy! Just cause you have a broken collarbone doesn't mean you don't have to miss out on the socialization part! ;)
