Currently nursing a dislocated knee from helping recover a friends motorcycle over the edge of Hwy 2 (long story, got jabbed by a yucca plant, reacted, knee twisted etc). I am hopeful to ride up, but may have to take the Vette just to say hey.

I was gonna' come to this get together but it's Mother's Day weekend. (was wondering why that weekend was picked)

My Mom is 91 and getting frail, can't miss spending time with Mom that weekend.

Priorities ----- good on ya. Wish my Mum n Dad were around -- Mum would have been 92, Dad - 101.......... wish I was mature enough back then to know my Dad better :-(

Dude you are 3 hours from home.......get up early Sunday or do like MadMike is doing and go home Saturday.

That will be a great ride - just did the last 1/3 of that same ride last weekend (Ojai up 33 to Maricopa and back through Pine Mountain Club). My first REAL extended ride on the FJR - What a frickin' machine!

Forgive me guys but I'm not reading all 18 pages of this thread. I'm a relative newb and live in Santa Barbara minutes away from these hotels on Calle Real. What's going next weekend?

This forum has been around since 05 so as you can expect there has been a few gatherings over the years. Richard has organized the GOTC for quite a while. Last year was in Eureka in Northern Cal so this year it's down south.

Come on by and meet the loonies from this place, we all enjoy riding and telling lies in the evening.

I'd love to join you guys, but the wife and I will be headed to Napa Thurs for the first-ever BottleRock festival. I'll keep my eyes out for your future comings and goings and join up with you for sure....
