Gear indicator

I have a '03 looking at getting a gear indicator, wondering if there are any preferences and how difficult are they to hook up?

I also found one made by HealTech, the GIPro. It's $200, however.

I ended up going with green, it just seemed like it matched the GenI intrumentation better imo.

I have a GIPro (in blue) on another of my bikes. It failed after a few years, but I replaced it. Useful tool and quality product, despite the failure.

By the way, the blue is easily visible in the sun as seen below.
