I Really find that 4,000 vibe problem annoying at highway speeds. If it was chain driven it would be easy to gear it up to get away from it. Wondering if its possible, or if theres parts available from yamaha to make a change like that with a shaft drive unit.

Not easily nor do I remember anybody changing the gearing. Several talked about swapping with a Vmax or other parts, but never actually did it to my recollection.

Try swapping with a Gen 1 for a while and then you'll think the Gen 2 is better. ;)

Just grab another gear..up 'er down, that'll stop the buzz.

Personally I don't find it to bad, but then again I came to the feeger from a dual sport ;)

**** if I bought a Goldwing, I'd have most likely been killed by now.. Asleep at the wheel......
