I'm still looking for a Gen2 pump that i can use in the enlarged tank I'm building. Does anyone have a line on a salvage yard that may have a Gen2 sitting in the weeds that is being parted out? Ebay isn't looking good.

I have a working fuel pump without a float or fuel sender. I pulled it from my '06 last November.

Are you interested?

What's the going price sir? JimS

It looks like you can only buy the comeplete pump/floatass. Yamaha don't list just the float or fuel sender, so thanks anyhow Brodie. I think I will continue my search for the complete unit. Thanks again Jim

If its a custom job does it have to be a Gen II unit? I have a 7k mile Gen I in perfect shape.

Thanks jocko, but I think there is a diff., I am just going to out wait ebay,or until i hear of a gen2 unit . I may even get brave enough to just pull mine out of my stock tank if the time starts getting short before Daytona Bike Week ( March) rolls around.I want to run this tank by then as that will be my next "big" ride from the midwest
