Gen I - Front wheel

Howdy,

Does anyone know the difference between a 2004 (non-ABS) front wheel and the 2005?

I checked and the Part numbers are not the same. Therefor I assume they are not the same, but perhaps it is a minor change.

2004 non-ABS -- 5JW-25168-01-35

2005 non-ABS -- 5JW-25168-01-P0

I'm guessing the final number, 35 vs P0 is a color code?

The Model Comparison Matrix lists the '04 and "light silver" and the '05 as "silver" so I'd assume that's the difference.

Man, I'm glad I started that spreadsheet when I did. With all the years going by I've been having trouble keeping it all in my head! I think it's going to help as we all lose more and more brain cells.

It may be related to the particular vendor you're trying. The one I usually go go (Flat Out) shows the two years the same as $518.66.

You might want to look at one of the many other FAQs we built and suggested when you signed up to see if you can find a cheaper price.
