Since this was my favorite windscreen, it was used for quite a few miles and has the expected number of light scratches and nicks.
Since you'll be looking over the screen most of the time, they won't be a problem.
I've used this windscreen in the cold of winter and in the desert at temperatures up to 117 degrees. I'm 5'9" with 30" inseam, sit on a Russell Day-Long Saddle and have Helibar Tour Performance top clamp so therefore, I sit more upright than many FJR1300 riders do.
This screen provides the smoothest air so if you're close to my size and riding position, you'll really enjoy having this on your bike.
