I am just becoming familiar with my new-to-me 09AE. I like to take advantage of all available storage space. The space beneath the pilot seat holds what appears to be the CPU, but there is more than enough clearance to also place a Slime compresser on top of the CPU. I am tempted, but also leery of how it might impact the CPU thermally. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Thanks in advance.

Yer gonna be just fine..

I hid a colony of 72 penguins from evil pollack warlords in that slot for five weeks without a problem.

Yeah, I thought some more about it after I posted. The seat is actually a thermal insulator, so I doubt that any additional materials there are going to make much of a thermal difference. I think I will wrap one layer of bubble wrap around the compresser. The compresser hose and power cord, plus my tire gauge all fit under the passenger seat.

Yeah , Mate she be right , I have all sorts of crap stuffed under the seats , now I want to connect a second battery and a fuse block but cant find any more room anyone got any ideas ,

Stuff a Shori in one of those Aussie PoPo boxes ;)

My slime came in a box w/ sum extra power cables, a psi gauge, the hose 'n sum other ****. On mah old "A" it fit perfectly under the driver seat, butt now I gotz an AE, and it no longer fits there.

All I need iz the SAE cable, hose 'n pump, so I wrapped 'em in a rag 'n put 'em in back of the passenger seat. (KInda between the rear of the passenger seat 'n tail.) The penguins; they gotta ride on back!

All that realestate under the seat, iz just another in the long list of **** that makes the FJR sucha great bike.

The Shori batteries are very light and would be really good , but they are a start battery I wounder they would stand up to a slower discharge anyone know
