I have noticed this for about 6 months. In any gear, at any speed where the engine rpm is at or greater than about 3500 rpm, there is an engine vibration. It is not in the handlebars, yet more in the seat. I have put the bike in neutral on the highway and in different gears. There is no difference which suggests to me that there is genuine vibration. I found one post on Google for a similar problem and am unable to find an answer, as did the other post.

Anyone else experiencing this vibration? No leaks, clean maintained engine and bike. This will occur standing still on the stand in neutral also. I had a Yamaha mechanic ride it and he didn't feel anything up and down the street. Maybe this is normal. I want to test out another FJR Gen 3 to compare with the same engine.

You need to borrow a KLR or a XR650L for a short ride to re-calibrate yer vibration sensors?

Just a suggestion....

I've noticed a particular gear whine, which seems to me to be from the balance shafts, not a transmission whine. A buzz starts soon after 3000 rpm and the Helibar plate seems to amplify it a bit (or maybe my imagination). Just saying I hear you, don't know how to address it yet, suggest start with a TBS (I haven't done one yet).
