You just made the 2013 owners sad.
No. 2013 owners are Sad anyway.
The Yamaha paint code for 2013 was "Blah -00" I won't say it matches the personality of the riders because that would almost be a personal attack. But it does.

2015 features the much improved "Blah-01" paint code.

2015 paint code is AssFault Gray-#2 It hopes to someday grow up and become a color.

I took the longer way home from work and never saw the ECO error code. Once home in the garage I did notice the fuel gauge rapidly flashing though, and it looks like my trip odometer reset itself like it does when there has been a power interruption.

^^^^ Ya, it looks like my '15 Gen III has all the FJR diseases. (It's almost Sat. It'll be over soon  ) Mebby I'll step away from the keyboard now and meander into the kitchen and open some high potency C2H6O flavored by corn squeezins.

Diethyl ether?

OOPS Edit: Dimethyl ether.

Today I visited SEO and liberated several gallons of hydrocarbons, seemed to reset the ECO error.

Saw a group of 3 FJRs with Beemer on 676 heading east.

Not even close to ethoxyethan. Perhaps CH3CH2OH depending if you speak molecular or empirical. Just as long as my FJR doesn't ingest too much along with the gas.

Steve_g, thanks for correlating the ECO error to liberating hydrocarbons! Is there a diAG adjustment similar to the CO adjustment to prevent the ECO error indication?

I erred but fixed it before your post - CH3-O-CH3 (dimethyl ether). The hydroxyethane (or ethyl hydrate) is my preferred isomeric form.
