Anyone have oil filters (Gen ll or lll) you are not going to need let me know what you have and how much you want for them. I'm tired of paying stealer prices for these things.

Buy yourself a Scotts filter & a few spare o rings, done over 200K kms and still OK.

Yamaha's filters in Australia are about 3 times the cost compared to prices in the USA.

They're just under $12 at Ron Ayers -- probably a little cheaper on other web sites. Amazon has the 5GH-13440-50-00 for $12,91 with free shipping. That's not really a lot higher than the Wix I've been using.

Not sure I get the big deal here? How much are you paying for them?

$10.42 each at Parts Shark before shipping. For 5,000 miles of use that really isn't all that expensive.

I buy in bulk and always have several on hand.

check Jake Wilson out. they got some Neutron Oil filters for sale for $4.50. this site won't let me paste the address so ya gotta go there to see 'em.

I just bought one from my local dealer yesterday - 20 Canadian pesos and a new size yet again. This one is about 1/2" shorter than the last one I bought which was almost an inch shorter from the one I used to get from them 2 years ago.
Next trip Stateside I am loading up on Bosch or Purolator filters.
