GenMar Risers on 09' FJR

I'm thinking about putting some GenMar risers on my 09' but it looks like the brake line would be awefully tight eventhough they'll only raise the bars up 1". Has anyone had a problem with any of the lines on an 09' when installing the risers?

If it helps, I thought the same thing when I installed 1" Genmars on my '07. But following the installation instructions worked out fine.

I have 'em on my '08. No problems.

You should be fine, I installed the Heli triple clamp AND the Heli

risers on my 2009. I only had to re-route the throttle cables at

the top, no biggie.

I have the 1" Gen Mars on my 08. No problems, but I did remove the wire loom bracket attached to the bottom of the upper triple clamp so the cables could be moved around easier to accomadate the risers. I didn't have to do this with my Gen 1. The installation is a little more involved on the GenII.

I raised mine quite a bit (stacked risers). If you are nervous, move all the controls on both handlebars as far as possible toward the center and you'll have more slack.
