My 07 FJR had the problem with the clutch not disengaging. I took it to the dealer and Yamaha had them pull the clutch and reinstall it. The clutch problem is now gone but I have a vibration problem between 2 and 3 thousand RPM. When the bike is running on the centerstand the plastics all rattle. The bike only has 1400 miles on it so I am not sure if this is normal. I have read that the rear counter balance is some how hooked to the clutch housing. Did the dealer have to mess with it to get the clutch out? Thank You.

Obviously your repair tech effed something up -

what you might try for a quick fix is to check the torque on the engine mount bolts - the ones that sliders are mounted to - they have to be torqued in a sequence.

Loosen then up - then torque the left side first, followed by the right. Torque setting is 41 ftlb. If the mechanic tightened them right to left, it's possible the engine is out of alignment with the drive train, and that might be a starting point.

If that doesn't fix it, then take it back and stuff it up their ..... (fill in the blank)

KD -
