Getting The Bug Jam Out Of The Radiator

Which way should the water flow go? I've always sprayed my dirt bike radiators from the backside to the front side so that bugs don't get lodged deeper into the fins.

Not sure if you can get to the backside on a FJR radiator.

I was thinking more in line with "rinsing" or "flushing", by letting clear water run through the coils and fins, rather than spraying.

I use a brush as well.

Ditto on ducatijohn's post, except I use aluminum screening for windows instead of fiberglass screening. Definitely keeps the bugs out of the radiator along with small pieces of sand and gravel. Easy to clean, just wet with warm water and detergent, and the bugs brush right off.
