Seen it yet?* He's supposed to release a new one next month, from rumors I've heard at the local sportbike shop. Even though all speed displays are in KPH, it's still fast.

I guess that's what is such a great draw to the bike for me (besides the comfort and long distance capabilities). I can get away with quite a bit and have vastly superior performance compared to the majority of other vehicles on the road. As long as I don't abuse the guidelines of the matrix, the agents stay at bay, so to speak.

* The images in the video do not reflect the opinions of the poster or condone the actions of the rider. It just looks crazy cool and reflects how I feel like riding sometimes! (Okay, most of the time. Alright, always!)

there are bold riders

there are old riders

there are dambed few old, bold riders.

I'm reminded of the guy who put out all the videos of slicing and dicing the loop around Paris.

Towards the end, they switch to a camara angle which originates from the police car.

Gotta call it.

Staged B.S.

He used to have a website, but I can't find it. IIRC, he's a Brit who likes to run amok on the Continent. Has/had quite a following. Crazy-mad riding, tho...

More GR Vids here.

Wikipedia has more info here.

I just love when he splits the two semi's, one of the on coming! Better hope to hell neither driver has to sneeze, or he is TOAST!

That guy copies MadMike. MadMike is the original.
You ever notice how nobody can seem to photograph Mike on his bike? He's just a blur.

So, they dressed up cars in emergency lights and ran code 3 down the highway filming the stunt? Boy, I sure wouldn't wanna get caught doing that. Maybe they just photoshopped in the squad cars from an old episode of "The Streets of San Fransisco".

IMO, more interesting to watch are the various videos of people trying to (and in many cases) setting lap records on the Peripherique around Paris. Just as crazy, but not as staged.

For those not familiar, the Peripherique is a beltway around Paris. It's 21.8 miles long. The speed limit on most of it is 80 km/h (~50mph). There's *always* traffic. The lap record is something in the 10 minute range.

PS: I'm way too old to be that bold! :)

+1 The other videos are like that too. Still, good rider and all, but frankly, take it to the track and stop making us all look bad.

I'd doubt many cagers are watching these videos. Or do you mean he's making us all look bad in an unskilled way?
I make myself look bad from time to time  It is a sport tourer after all....and the nearest track is 200 miles away. Just too far to commute to have fun! I'd be out of gas by the time I got there.

Hi, my name's Bob, and I'm a hooligan.

 Way too nuts for the public roads, good way to get yourself killed and as Bounce stated I also read somewhere the guy was killed doing it one to many times.

Hey if you want to take yourself out fine, but don't leave behind someone with a case of trauma after they rolled over your body or what was left of it after you splattered all over the place trying to be cool.

Do that kind of stuff in a controlled environment, on a track or at a stunt drivers school.

:glare:
