Givi V46 Topcase w/ Mount & Backpad

Added a Givi topcase to my '06 FJR last spring. Great product however the co-pilot doesn't like the way it fits her....Droppped close to $500 on the case, mount and pad. Would like to trade for a Pirate's Lair backrest if someone has one lurking in their garage. Would like to sell mount and case together, but will separate if necessary. Still in very good condition. Trades for other toys/ accessories considered. Make me a reasonable offer. Located in Northern Colorado but will ship for actual cost. Thanks for looking!! Bob

Bob, sorry to hear things did not work out with the top case. When I first added mine, my wife was OK with it, but felt a little cramped. When I added the pad, it really got tight. Many years ago, someone here posted some details for relocating the topcase back a few inches. Did some research, found the old thread, and ended up doing something similar. Basically made some offset brackets to go between the mounting frame and the monokey box mount. It made all the different in the world and the wife is very happy. Might be something you look into before abandoning the GIVI altogether.

Which mount do you have? If it's the sr357 I'd be interested in the mount and maybe everything?? I already have the same box with mount(not the sr357)and am looking for more support to keep my subframe from breaking if I overload it. I also have a backrest with rack that I bought from Garauld last spring that I've been tossing the idea around about selling or trading??its in great shape also. If you haven't seen his work, it is quite impressive. If interested let me know. Thanks

Linked some pics to another interested party who says it's not the SR357 mount-no extra sidebars. Another person may be interested in the mount without the box so there could be a deal in the cards. Any way to get me a picture of the backrest you're considering selling?
