Minor hijack: Actually, it was the indiscreet Washingtonians and Californians that brought an awful lot of pressure to bear, but it was a native that pushed it all over the brink, arguing in court that 130 "was reasonable and prudent" (which was the legal speed limit) and a judge throwing out the case because the law was ridiculously vague. This caused the legislature to act. But it was fun while it lasted. We used to drive 500 miles in six hours, no sweat.I think that was Montana and I think the Europeens wrecked that for us
