Glacier was the objective and highlight of our Ride to the Great Divide in 2014. It was worth it. I want to go back someday, if I can make it.

As said, Browning is not a place to stop long. Avoid getting gas there as well if you can. Browning was planning to unincorporate and no longer be a town. They are horribly managed and plan to just let the county take over.

There is a motel in St Mary's. East side of the road, north end of town up on a hill. Kind of a dump, but cheaper then most in that area.
