GMax GM44 opinions???

Not too sure I'm sold on the whole modular thing, but I'd like to try one. I am debating between the Vega Summit II and the Gmax GM44, but I'm leaning towards the Gmax because I can get one for $110 brand new. I know they aren't as quiet as the more expensive helmets, but I've been wearing a Shoei RFR for the last 10 years, so it couldn't get any worse! Any opinions? (wow, that's a loaded question)

You might consider buying the helmet that has metal locking mechanisms. You should know that the modulars that are made with plastic locking mechanisms can be broken with your fingers.
