No, did that a long time ago. We get invaded by "snowbirds" every winter. They clog up our roads at 18 miles per hour, apparently thinking the signs are in kilometers. (How long does it take to get here at 38 miles an hour, anyway?) They won't pay the marked price for ANYTHING without an argument. (Sign says 49 bucks, it's 49 bucks, NOT 35!!!) And you can't get into a restaurant that serves a buffet, even if you want table service. Parking lot's full of Crown Vics and Park Avenues driven by people who once inside act like they can't afford to eat anything costlier than uncooked rice. They try to share a paid plate among at least 2, maybe 4 people, and then they want a to-go plate when they're done.
I've been to rinks 3 times in my life. Have never fallen on the ice, although I'm not what you'd call skilled. As for not using a rink, skating requires that water enters the solid state out-of-doors, right there on the ground, right? Or on the top of a lake or pond. Inconceivable concept! :huh:
