Managed to set out Sunday Morning between the rain and try out the Go Pro HD Motor Sports version.....

I LIKE IT.....

I like the fact that you can mount it almost anywhere.

Also, should I crash into the ocean it is waterproof to 180 feet.

Wowser Richard, you're becoming an excellent cinematographer; outstanding M/C video of Palos Verde Drive. Great camera and photographer! Duran Duran: Are you a Brit or something?

HaHa i know, i tried it with 3 others songs first and youtube kept deleting the audio.....

I really like the back mount, where your left side is in the shot. That gives a much better feel of riding than just shooting out the windshield. Way cool.

I got one of those Aiptek cheapie SD card digital video cameras a couple of Christmases ago when it went on clearance. My daughter works at Walgreen's, so I also got her employee discount. 1080i at 15 frames per second or 720p at 30 frames per second, for 85 bucks. My intention was to use it with the bike, and I just haven't gotten around to it. Shoots really nice video just walking around with it, but I haven't bothered trying to mount it to the bike, yet, since my riding has been severely curtailed by the economic condition, and who wants vids of long straight flat roads?

Great vid. I like the first shot with the forward lower mount, really interesting watching the front suspension work. Looked like the bike was steady and the road and wheel were in motion. Dig the side view from the back of the bike as well.

The first part was taken with the camera mounted with the GoPro suction cup mounted just below the heated grip cut out, the 2nd clip has the cam mounted

to the slider on the left side.

The 3rd clip is a different camera (Panasonic Lumix) mounted on a ram ball behind the screen, and the last clip is with the camera mounted with the suction cup to the left side bag.

When i used the suction cup to mount the cam I also used a piece of wire as a safety wire just in case the cup let go, I don't think it will come off but was not willing to take that chance.

I also found a better place to mount the cam in the rear, the cup seems to mount very solidly on the triangular piece just above the rear lights, if the weather co-operates tomorrow i will get out and try it.....

I am kinda getting into this and may go and buy a 2nd one so i have more options.

Scott I will post pics tomorrow for you. and why are you not coming to DV next month?

Video quality is way good, wow, it pops at you. Me thinks I *need* one of them dere thingies..

Is it just camera angle, or are you actually lifting your entire leg to downshift?

I'm having to move my whole leg since I sprained my ankle a while back. Since then, it doesn't roll the same most days, hurts it when I try. I tried adjusting the shifter down, but that makes me have to drop my toe far enough to be uncomfortable.

Getting old might suck, but not getting old probably sucks worse.

Not really sure Don, I think it is a combination of changing down and setting my feet for the corners.......

I will aim the cam so i can see me feet next time.. <_<
