The ride back from Yosemite was so nice that I have to go back to some of it. I'm riding Sunday up to near where 89 and 4 meet to go fishing with some friends. They are taking my gear for me( they are caging), while I ride ( as I have to leave a bit early to get back for a b-day party)

We'll go 50, Mormon Emigrant, 88, 89 there are back.

For a minute there, I thought you had figured out how to pack your own gear on the bike. Tease. That would expand my fishing territory!

Have fun, bragger :)
I tried to keep this away from you Moby! How did I know you'd be reading cali ride planning? ;) ;)

It can't be hard to carry gear if you are just doing fly fishing eh? Just wear the waders and vest, get a cloth covered pole case and strap it on...that would look pretty coool!

Surf fishing may take a bit more riggin ;-)

Yeah, my stocking foot waders would make a great rain suit. I would however have to change to lug soles though. Can you get a fly fishing vest with body armor?

Tight lines.

I was thinking how cool Orangevale's FJR would look with a scabbard of fishing gear strapped to the fairing and a kreel on the pillion seat. :D

hmm...if you use metal, or some other type of hard to break fly cases, then maybe they would count as armor?
