Maybe he could rig up a laptop on a Ram mount like police have in their cruisers or a spotlight hanging off the side of the mirror. How about an ejection seat to eject him just as he's about to hit the car that turned left in front of him. Of course he'll need to pack a parachute assuming he gets enough altitude to deploy the chute....he'll know exactly what the altitude is by his altimeter watch.

You think it's a joke but I know he starting to figure out how to make it all happen now.

Don't slouch to get the forward lean, roll forward at your hips and keep your back straight. Put no weight on your hands; you should be able to lift your hands off the bars without changing your posture or position. Do a Google search for "Master Yoda" position. Sitting like that removes the shoulder blade pain many experience, and removes wrist pain as well.
If you're reaching for the bars, you're not sitting right.
Well with 650 miles on my new 09 I was riding home from my first service today and noticed I was completely comfortable no wrist, pack leg or neck pain. I then discovered I was sitting more forward than normal almost against the tank and thought this must be the yoda positions your talking about. Lets just hope I can find that position again...

Just roll forward at the hip joints, not in the spine. Your upper body is supported by your legs, just like it is when you're walking. That puts no pressure on your hands, and therefore none on your wrists, arms, elbows, or shoulders. You should be able to lift your hands off the bars without shifting your weight.

That's the Master Yoda position.

Only if you're built like a hand. :exhappysmiley: FJR still has me in a forward lean even after putting risers with setbacks on it. I'd prefer a little more upright position still but don't see it happening short of aftermarket bars of which there are none.

That said, the improvement was enough to reduce the wrist pain to the point occasional use of the throttle lock makes it a non-issue.

Not quite fitting like a glove but fitting well enough. I love the GW position too but not quite ready to take that bus everyday when a Ferrari is available.

Mind if I use your bus/Farrari comment to my Harley friends when they ask why didn't I buy a real motorcycle. It might shut them up for a little while!

Now, THAT would be an accurate descriptor! :)

There are aftermarket bars for the Gen I bikes, see attached link:

LSL Handlebar & Riser

From that point any 7/8 bar can be used.

Up to a point, if you try to go too high/back, you'll have to get longer brake/clutch lines and throttle cables I'd bet.
