[What Next]

Has anyone installed a windshield vent from a Gold Wing on a Rifle windshield ?

I saw a post some time back (on another board) some one was thinking of doing it but I never saw a follow up.

it'd have to be mounted pretty high to clear the dash when the shield was fully retracted. even more so if you use an ECM shelf and have stuff mounted there.

the shield height adjuster does so much more for air flow than the wing vents did (imo) that it would seem a lot of work for a little change.

what are you trying to accomplish? that might help people with their answers.

 

[What Next]

I'm want airflow on my chest and quiet air on my helmet. The Rifle windshield has a big dead air space in the center. If the center vent worked as good on the Rifle as it does on a Gold Wing I would go for it . With the Rifle down all the way I get the blast of air on my head lots af noise. Oh well ya can't have everything.

I have the new wing with the vent in the windshield. It doesn't do ****, don't waste your time. Regards, Greg :beee:
