Dude definitely had his "wing on". Don't underestimate how well the new GW 1800 handles as compared to the 1300. More hp, lower cg, greater available lean angle etc.

YellowWolf on the Dragon. He sold the wing for a dirt bike so he and his kid could spend time together.

Those Wings can fly with the right person at the helm. I thought I carved up the Dragon area pretty good when I took my Wing there, but I got scared just watching this guy on his wing. Very impressed!

Well that guy is amazing :clapping: and a really nice guy to boot. Hope he has lots of good times with his son/daughter..
that be some old flicks there...he had a good video system on that wing too.

Jd

I think they were exceeding the posted 30mph speed limit

You sure that wasn't Pedrosa or Rossi? Maybe Nicky? Geez. Never seen a wing pushed that hard.

Yeah...I've NEVER heard of people exceeding the speed limit on the Dragon. :)

do you mean the GL1500 or the GL1200 or the FJR1300?

if EITHER of the first 2, then i'm totally Gunny with you!

When I was at the Dragon last year, I saw a glimpse in my rear mirror and let him pass me. As he went flying by, and I do mean flying by, I thought to myself, "Great, I'm gonna have to go dig this guy out of a ditch or off a tree top". Sparks were flying as he hit the corners, and then he was gone. When I got up to the dam at the other end he was sitting there after having passed about 30 bikes showing them all the video of himself passing us all.

Very impressive rider!

I'm betting that Rick a.k.a. Yellow Wolf will be back at the Gap in about a year. Last time I spoke to him he was starting to look at street bikes again. He switched jobs since the video business didn't go as well as he hoped. He is an excellent rider and that video does not show what he can do. That was about a 14 minute pace. On his 1K ride at the Dragon, he turned an 11:30 after dark. That's freakin' cookin'.
